Labor Day

Waiting for the parade to start

Bridger waiting for the rodeo to start

We had a fun filled Labor Day weekend.
It started Saturday by going to Mtn. View to help my dad put the new fire place in. The boys ended up playing so hard that they slept from the time that they got in the car until the next morning. That, my friends, is heaven for us parents!
Sunday was the usual church. The boys were great all day. They both went to nursery (only Bridger cried, I'm told) and during Sacrament meeting they were angels. Corbin fell asleep and Bridger was content to sit by us instead of playing like a crazy man.
Monday was the much anticipated day for Bridger. It started out with a yummy breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa Welling's house. Then the parade, where Bridger needed to be coaxed to get the candy, and Corbin had no interest in grabbing the candy. After a little lunch Brent, Bridger, and I headed off to the rodeo. We've decided that rodeo's aren't too entertaining anymore. Bridger liked the bull riding and occasionally some of the other stuff. Good thing Brent has lots of cousins and a sister to keep him entertained!
After the rodeo we went back to G&G Welling's for a barbeque. We visited for a while and then called it a day. We were tired by the end, but we sure had fun.

What a fun weekend!! I remember the rodeos when we were in School were mainly for social reasons only, and to flirt with the cute cowboys!!! (I always thought I would marry a cowboy, and my husband is sooo far from one) I don't think we really watched them. They are kina boring sometimes huh?
