Corbin fell asleep and stayed in the car for the action
Brent was verbally released to go back to work on Thursday. Now he is just waiting to get the written statement from the doctor. So, to pass the time he has been antelope hunting. Saturday was opening day and they got rained out. It poured all morning and after sitting in the blind for about 3 hours they (he and Mark, his cousin) called it quits. Brent did go back out that night but didn't have any luck.
He decided to try it one more time this morning because he didn't know when he would get the chance again, not knowing what was going on with work. He left our house at 5 AM and I got a call around 9:30 saying he was done! YAY! The only problem was he needed some help getting it into the truck (remember how he had back surgery 4 months ago?!). None of his cousins were available so I loaded up the boys and put on my big girl panties (that's for you Amanda) to go find him and help him. Lucky for me as I pulled off the road Mark was just getting there to help him. Thank you, Mark, for dragging the antelope so I didn't have to touch it!
Brent is pretty excited and all that is left to do is cut it up. No more early mornings until deer hunting...well, unless he goes with Jeff.

Collette, way to put on the BIG Girl Panties, you are funny. I am glad you didn't have to load it, with a baby on board:) I am glad another Desert Rat bites the Dust. You know growing up the only animal head we had in our house was an antelope, my dad was pretty proud of it, not sure why, but it remains in the our house to this day. Kill more!!!!
brent does look pretty proud with his antelope! i do have to chuckle at the fact that he is just barely getting the okay to go back to work, and he goes hunting! pretty sweet that he got it so soon, though!!
Nice, antelope Brent. Oh and it looks like you found the picture that I supposedely erased! lol Only problem now is that your hunt is over. Gary
Collette,
We left a bag of girl baby clothes at Grandmas. Did Brent get his rash cleared up...just concerned.

Yuck, Yuck, Yuck. That poor antelope will never see his family again. How do you feel about that? So sad. . . .
Oh wow...that thing is huge!
