Just kidding. I don't really have any mushy stuff to share.
Brent had a basketball game yesterday that Bridger and I went to. It was fun. The season is over(except for a tournament on Saturday) and I managed to get one picture...This is his team warming up yesterday. They are cute kids that tried Brent's patience at times, but he has had fun coaching them. Their parents are really nice too. One boy's parents were sitting behind us yesterday and Bridger just made himself at home with them. Thank goodness they were willing to entertain him or it would have been a nightmare. They did magic tricks, looked at the newspaper with him, held him, talked to him, you name it they did it to entertain him. I was grateful they were there.
After the game we went to a nice romantic dinner at Arby's. I know, you are all jealous of us big spenders. Maybe one day you will be lucky enough to go to Arby's on Valentine's day:)
Following our scrumptious dinner at Arby's we went to catch the second half of the Douglas boy's basketball game. By this time it was about 8:00 and Bridger was one tired puppy. Poor Brent ended up standing by the door with Bridger most of the game because the loud cheers from the crowd would set him off. Lucky for us it went into overtime, but Douglas lost. At least it was exciting. So there you have a run down of our Valentine's day. Neither of us were really into it. We didn't even get each other gifts. I mean, how romantic are flowers when you know they are coming, just because someone said you are supposed to get them? And Brent thinks that any holiday is an excuse to pick a gift from his long list of gift ideas...I said it doesn't work that way. If my options are flowers or candy he gets 1. balloons 2. chocolate (or candy) or 3. I can send him flowers too. He decided that he didn't really need anything either.
* I should clarify. I like Valentine's day. I like the pink and red and hearts and cutesy stuff. I like the pink sprinkles and heart cookies, little kids giving out valentines, sending valentines to people you love...There is some element of it that I'm not in love with...I just can't quite put my finger on it. It might be the "romantic" part. It seems so cheesy to me. I would rather romance be spontaneous, than share it with the rest of the world. Kind of lame, I know. *
I thought this was a cute picture of Bridger. He was sitting next to me watching the video of himself on the computer. He moved his hands when I tried to take the picture. He did have them folded in his lap. So cute.

Don't worry. We are lame too and didn't get each other gifts. I totally agree about buying a gift on a day set aside just for doing that... it's kind of lame. But of course, to each their own.
I had strep on Valentines day, so we didnt even go out at all. I really liked your primaryisms. That was funny. You little one really does look grown up in his church outfit.
