Mom and Dad got into town late last night. It was so great to have them here this morning to visit with and to entertain Bridger. He loves them.
Grandpa and Bridger looking at some pictures.
Bridger showing Grandpa the "Wheels on the Bus" book. He was amazed that Grandpa knew the words too!!
Bridger loves Grandma and Grandpa. He almost skipped a nap just to keep playing. But, they had to go.
After tutoring this afternoon, Bridger and I went to watch a couple of games of volleyball. Brent was doing the chains for the middle school football game. We lasted through warm-ups and 1 1/2 games of JV action. Then Bridger was done.

When we got home Bridger had some dinner. He ate 1/2 a sloppy joe, and loved it!! I wasn't sure how he would handle the meat, but he ate it up. I love it when he likes what we're having for dinner and I don't have to fix him something special.
So it was a good day!

That is so great that Grandma and Grandpa could visit. It is so hard to live far away from grandparents when the kids are so young. But I found that my kids started to remember and all those good feelings about their grandparents when they are younger just added up. Glad you had such a good day.
I can tell your folks were having a good time. Bill and I look forward to those times. I think we're going to be great grandparents. We're still trying to decide what we want to be called. Mitt Romney and his wife are called Ike and Mamie to their grandchildren. Bill and I were thinking maybe George and Laura NOT!!!
I'm glad you had a good day too! You're parents weren't there for very long. Were they just passing through? Or did they have to go back home? It was sure fun to see them in the pictures. I bet they're great with the Bridger and the other grandkids. Speaking of pictures. That's a great family picture on the front of you blog! I like it a lot!
