Discovering Douglas

Today I went to the post office drive-thru as I have may days before. I happened to look around at some of the stores on the same street. I noticed one called the Prairie Stitcher. It had lots of fall quilty type things. I thought, hmmm...I'll have to go back there and check it out. Lucky me (or not lucky me) Bridger fell asleep early and only took a 1 hr. nap. So instead of trying to entertain him at home, we loaded up and checked out the Prairie Stitcher. I was impressed. It reminds me of the quilt shop in Urie, if you've been there. Tons of material, lots of patterns and kits. They even have fabric that feels like it has been pieced (not just looks like it). That is my kind of quilting. Anyway...I was so excited to find this store. And I thought Douglas didn't have much to offer...silly me!

I love quilting and wish I had more time to spend looking at nice fabrics and more money to buy them. I am no expert but it is fun. I also enjoy the occasional knitting or crochet project. Of course it has to be TINY for me to really like it, as I prefer completed projects.
