Hamblin Family Reunion

We had our Hamblin family reunion last weekend.
The fun began Thursday night when we all gathered at a rental cabin over looking Bear Lake. It was very nice and beat camping by a long ways! We all settled in and Friday morning we got up and headed to the Lake. We ended up at North Shore per Devan's advice and absolutely loved it. I don't know why we've been going anywhere else all this time. Anyway...we tuckered the kids out and played all day.
Back at the cabin we waited for Devan to arrive and then had dinner and some minute to win it type games...mostly oreo eating with no hands.
Saturday we had wave runner rentals at the crappy end of the lake but we made the most of it! We all had fun riding the wave runners and avoiding the rocks getting out to them! Saturday night we ordered the biggest pizza any of us had ever seen and enjoyed! We just relaxed and watched tv, enjoyed the scenery and everyone's company.
Sunday we just got up ate a little, said our good byes, and everyone headed home; tired, but happy, I think. 
 We missed Jackie. I kept thinking how her laugh would have made the weekend perfect. It was the first family gathering that she was missing from. She will forever be missed.
I would say it was a success. Everyone wanted to get together again next year. So maybe it will become a family tradition. Pick a new place every year! I hope so. I love my family and getting together with them!
