Last day of school

The school year came to an end on the first of June. It was a wonderful year for Bridger. He learned so much, met some great friends, and had an amazing teacher. No, really, I loved her. I might have gotten a bit teary as I talked to her on the last day and she told me how wonderful Bridger was. She was so sweet.

This is a fun little tradition that I hope to keep up with all the kiddos. We'll see how long that lasts.

Bridger received a math award at the all school assembly. He received a reading one in November but we were in Boise for my grandpa's funeral. I'm glad he got another one so we could be there. These are the other kids in his class and his teacher. I just had my phone and three antsy kids that were itching to leave. So that is why there isn't a better picture. You get the idea though!

I don't have any pictures but in the afternoon, after I took Hudson to the doctor for a horrible rash from strep, we had an end of summer party. We had popsicles, cookies, and punch and let the kids go crazy for about an hour. We invited all the neighborhood kids and their mommas. I think we ended up with about 30 kids in the back yard. That will definitely become a tradition. Maybe a little more organized than the night before.
