Wandering around the neighborhood

Yesterday afternoon out of the corner of my eye I thought someone had brought their horses into the cul-de-sac. When I did a double take I saw a momma moose and her baby. This picture is after they had wandered into our neighbors backyard, trying to figure out how to get out of the neighborhood. They walked around kind of confused for a while before one of our other neighbors came home and scared/pushed them out of the area with his car. I don't think it was intentional, they were just in his front yard and he was turning around so that he could go somewhere else until they moved. I'm glad he did because school was getting out shortly and there are lots of kids that walk down our street. I would have hated for them to run into a moose!
