Corbin turned 18 months on Saturday the 29th. Today he had his doctor's appointment.
Here are the stats:
Weight: 23 lbs 12 oz (10th percentile)
Height: 2 ft 7.3 inches (25th percentile)
She said he is keeping on his curve just right. She said the most important thing is to make sure that their height percentile is higher than their weight so that we know they aren't growing up to be chubby! Finally, some useful information on the percentiles other than just what they are.
He is so much fun. He has personality coming out of his ears. He definitely likes things his way and lets you know when he doesn't like something. He says quite a few words and still doesn't like vegetables of any sort, but loves fruit of any kind.
He also went to nursery for the whole time on Sunday. I'm praying that is a trend that continues. It helps to have Bridger in there. We told Bridger it was his job to make sure Corbin was taken care of. He came home and gave us a report of how he took care of Corbin. What a great big brother.

Yes, when Rohne went to his 3 year appointment, he was 95% for weight, and only 90% for height, and she told me that he should only drink skim milk, because he was going to become obese. I asked her to just look at him without clothes on. When she did, she said, "Oh, he's pretty muscular, isn't he?" So, that isn't always foolproof. I think if you are not feeding them chips and donuts every meal, and they are active, you don't have to worry. I think that childhood obesity is just a huge thing right now. Yay for 2 kids in Nursery before you have your 3rd! I took my baby to church for the 1st time last week, and he cried the whole 3 hours. It was really fun. At least my other 2 are in Primary, or I would have been tempted to just go home.
was he born on feb. 29th? mercedes birthday is aug. 29th...and when she turned 6 months, i was really put out that she was never *really* 6 months old, because that would put her at feb. 29th for her half-birthday! lol
Emily-sounds like your doctor is a little uptight about the percentages. Mine was just saying if there is a huge difference then she worries. I don't think that 90 and 95 warrant skim milk...especially for a 3 year old. Sheesh. I would have been mad too!
Shae, yup, Feb. 29th. No actual birthday day for this boy until he is 4!
