Thursday: I had a doctor's appointment in Ogden so we did some shopping before and after. We found out that the mall doesn't open until 10AM, not 9AM like we thought. Everything went great at the doctor. I asked him to confirm that we were still having a girl. We're getting down to crunch time and I didn't want to go crazy with girl stuff if we weren't having a girl. He checked and assured us that there was NOT a boy in there.
After the doctor we shopped some more and then I got my hair cut. I decided to go with bangs. Its been a while since I had full on bangs. You know the kind, cover your forehead, not swept to the side at all. I also went pretty short with the rest of my hair. I probably should have done one of the other. I'm still deciding how I like it. I like both parts (short and bangs), just not together. What can you do? Good thing my hair is growing fast these days.
After the salon we ran to find another camera. We decided to go with the Nikon cool pix. We don't need anything fancy, just something to document our children's lives so they can recognize themselves at a later date! Bad choice. We got home and realized that the picture quality was terrible. We adjusted every setting possible and it didn't help. So we decided to get a different camera.
Friday: more relaxing and finding a different camera. We found one that takes great pictures and will hopefully last for a few years. Nothing too exciting. Probably some naps, playing outside, spraying small trees in Susan's yard, you know, general type stuff.
Saturday: We drove to Star Valley to visit with the Kennington side of my family. My cousin Eric and his wife, Tarrah, and daughter, Hannah were in town. It's been 10 years since I saw Tarrah and about 6 since I've seen Eric. Brent has never met either one of them. I was fun to visit with everyone.
Today we just took it easy. We didn't have church because of the temple dedication. We didn't get our act together and get tickets for that soon enough, so we stayed home all day. We're enjoying the last few days of Brent being home constantly. We're thinking that sometime this week he'll go back to work.

Okay so I had to blow up your picture to even see your cute belly and your new hair cut, I love it. I think it is way cute short with bangs, but you would be cute no matter what you do with your hair! Its always fun to spend time with family. I always thought your parents were the sweetest!
Wait, what temple dedication? They cancel church for temple dedications?
i think your hair turned out great! it's always fun to get a new look...i think i might finally grow mine out after having the same look for a year and a half now. lol
so, what kind of camera did you get the 2nd time around? it looks like it does pretty decent if you used it with the pictures on your post! :)
Abbie, the Oquirrh Mountain temple. I think that all meetings in the Utah area were canceled (or had the option). They broadcast 2 different dedicatory sessions. If you live outside the area it was business as usual!
When we got a new camera, we got the Nikon Coolpix too, and promptly took it back and got another one. Bad picture quality. I like your hair too. Mine is starting the postpartum shedding, and so I want to get it cut bad. But, Jake really likes it long. We'll see who wins. My mother-in-law has never been brave enough to take our kids for a sleepover, although I know they would love it. Hooray for good grandparents!
It was so good to see you guys! Thanks so much for coming and visiting...hoping it won't be another 6-10 years until we "see" you again, way too long.
