Birthday fun

Bridger turned 3 today! He's been waiting for this for a long time. I was surprised at how many people thought he was turning 4. Nope, just 3. He was a little confused this morning though that he was actually 3 not 2 anymore.

The morning started out with some donuts. We thought he might like that. We sure did!

For lunch he had a picnic on the lawn...by himself. Poor little guy. I was trying to make cake and cupcakes, Brent was cutting up his antelope and Corbin had already eaten lunch and was taking a nap. Bridger had been out with Brent when I asked him if he wanted lunch. He didn't want to come in so he asked if he could have a picnic. Sure, why not, it's your birthday!! He loved it.

The rest of the day was spent waiting for the party. I don't know how many times he asked if it was "time for my friends to come over?"
The cake
Not to bad for a rookie?!!

The party. We had so much fun.
Thanks everyone for spoiling him.

Corbin had fun too!

Bridger is so much fun. He is constantly cracking us up with things he says. He picked out his birthday present. We thought he might forget because it was a month in advance. No, he reminded us quite frequently. He was very patient though. He didn't ever throw a fit because he couldn't have his presents right then. He would make comments like: "when its my birthday and I have my golf game can we play in the yard? Or when it's my birthday and I get my bow I'm going to shoot an elk. " Funny kid.
After the party we went to McDonald's for dinner because we promised him he could have chicken nuggets for dinner. He fell asleep on the way home. What a way to end a birthday!
Happy birthday little buddy, we love you!

Happy Birthday Bridger! He sure is cute. I got so many wierd looks up here when people saw my 2 little kids, and that I was pregnant with a 3rd. And, many snide remarks like "Gee, you're gonna be busy!" Don't make 'em grow up too fast. 3 is a great age!! Rohne has always wanted a bow and arrow, too.

Cute little guy, Happy Birthday Bridger. I think your cake looks great. I am bad I always have mine made at the store, but they are so dang expensive. My mother in law works in the jubilee Bakery and so she makes mine now. I am not a very good cook. By the way I think you are about due for a cute prego picture of you on your blog don't you think? I never get to see your cute belly in your pictures because you are always hiding it. That better be the next blog post:)
