July 8th marked the 2 yr. anniversary of Brent's dad passing away. Not a happy anniversary, but for a while it is one that cannot be avoided. All of Brent's siblings were in town so Susan arranged for us to all meet at the cemetery and release balloons to remember Grandpa Lake. We still miss him everyday, but know that it is all part of our Heavenly Father's plan.

That's really sweet. I'm sure the moment can be bittersweet... You are right though... thank goodness we can understand death a bit better.
On another note. I am a slacker and haven't written an email. I'll put that on my list of things to do. It's a long list :(
