We started out Wednesday morning all ready for our adventure.

We got to Casper and checked into our hotel.
Corbin really liked the luggage carrier.Then it was on to the state cheer and dance competition.
Luckily Evanston cheer and dance were near the beginning so we weren't fighting kids while trying to watch Nicole and Carly perform.

The cheerleaders took 3rd in 4A all girl cheer (there are 3 categories to place in: all-girl, stunt, and co-ed).They were pretty excited.
The dancers took 1st in, well, 4A dance! Congrats to Nicole and Carly!
Coley came up to visit us after she was all done. The boys were happy to see her up close!
This is a picture of all the teams waiting for the results. It was loud. Picture all of these teams competing to be the loudest...
Tiff entertained Corbin for a while that night, too.Thursday the bball games began. Evanston played the 9pm game on both Thursday and Friday. That is why there are so few pictures. The kids (and parents) were tired by the time the games came around.
Swimming. How can you go on vacation and not go swimming? The boys loved it.
Relaxing. There wasn't very much of this going on so I thought I'd snap a picture of one of the few times they slowed down for a second.
We had fun just getting away from life for a little bit.

Very cute. It's fun to travel even if it's not far from home. any time spent in a hotel is fun time for kids.
There should be pictures with us there! Sorry we couldn't come. I really would've loved to. We have been so stinkin sick if we had been able it wouldn't have been good for you. I'm glad you had fun though. Did you make it to Douglas for church?
So nice for a break! Man...the days of cheer competitions! Those pictures brought back some memories from highschool for me. :)
Ooh, a little escape from reality. . . how fun! Your boys must be great little travelers. Glad you had a good time. We are going for a little escape in April or May, before new baby boy comes. I can't wait!
