Quirks

Tara tagged me to write about 6 of my quirks. I'm sure most of you are sick of hearing about me, so I thought I'd list Brent's quirks. Don't worry, I'm not sharing any secrets...just things that if you know Brent, they are quite obvious (except for #5).

1. Everything he wears must be ironed. He is not a fan of wrinkles of any size or shape.

2. He will eat almost any leftovers for lunch the next day. Not for dinner, for lunch only.

3. He has to have a variety of meal options. For example: he cannot eat cereal for breakfast for more than about 4 days in a row. He has to change it up. We cannot eat the same thing for dinner within about a 2 week period.

4. He hates hates hates the sound of styrofoam of any sort. He especially hates it when it is packed around something that has to come out of a box.

5. When we are sleeping, I have to be to his left, or he can't sleep. After Corbin was born I slept on the right side of the bed for about a week because it was easier to get up with Corbin that way. I don't think Brent slept very well that whole week (and not just from a crying baby). We had to switch back so he could get his sleep and not be so cranky...just kidding!

6. He gets really worked up over sports. It doesn't matter who is playing: little league all the way to the pros. If his team isn't doing well, he is not a happy camper. He's not afraid to say what he thinks about the players either. This has made him feel a little sheepish a couple of times. Think high school game with parents (that you don't know who they are) sitting close by.

What a quirky guy :)! It's weird that I haven't ever met Brent. Maybe someday.....

Your calendar layout is so cute. You are quite the crafty girl.

Jake used to like everything ironed until he married me. I am not a fan, and he hates to do it himself. The dryer works just as good for him now. Poor guy. I would like to meet Brent and your boys sometime too.

I forget that you guys haven't met him. Maybe one day we can have a big Mtn. View reunion...from the elementary days!

Emily, he irons all his own stuff, and sometimes mine! I hate ironing and refuse to do it for him most of the time. I'm not a very nice wife, am I?!
