The food (and party favors). The witch hats were by far the star of the party. I think they are pretty darn cute, myself.
The activities.
The costumes. Everyone looked so cute.Last night we hosted our first ever Halloween party for kids ages infant-about 6. Considering there were 14 kids under the age of 6, it went quite well. Our house isn't that big so getting everyone, with their parents, in here was quite the feat. Then try playing games! They all looked so cute in their costumes. Most of them had the costumes stripped off by the end because of the heat.
We started off by taking a picture of everyone. Then we ate donuts off of strings. Well, some did. Then we played musical carpet squares. A version of musical chairs...or mostly confused little small kids. The older ones got it. When the music stopped we drew a picture out of a bowl. If you were standing on that picture, you got a little, small prize. Then we made the little candy corn men, ate treats, and everyone left.
I was happy with how it turned out. It was fun to see everyone in their costumes. Maybe we'll have to start a yearly tradition...maybe.

Where do you find the time to do all of that decorating food? I made some cut out cookies for a court of honor for Larry and it took me longer than I wanted it to. They were not fancy like what you did for your party.

so cute. What are the witches hats? It looks like maybe oreos dipped in chocolate and maybe choc. covered bugle cracker things. Share the creativity ideas.

Wow, how great of you to do this for everyone!! I would never be brave enough to host a party of that caliber. The food looks awesome, and I wish I could have played some of the games. Good for you!! What a fun time!
Oh wow way to go Collette!! Your a brave woman to have all those kids at your house! I'm suprised its still standing! Your treats looked so cute and yummy and the kids looked adorable!! Way to go!!
