I thought maybe he was done with naps. I mean he is two after all (that is dripping with sarcasm, if you thought I was crazy). He hasn't had a real nap in about 5 days. Yes, you read that right, FIVE days. He's had little cat naps in the car here and there. The past two days he has had nothing. Oh sure, I've laid him down, gotten the football, a drink (or 5), laid by him, nothing. It makes life around our house reeeeal fun, let me tell you. He was fighting it again today with all his might, but the nap monster finally got him. Thanks nap monster, I owe you!

Finally!

Seriously! Collette we are dealing with the same crap at our house. Connor fights nap time like you wouldn't believe...okay, you would believe it. You are apparently living it! I want to pull my hair out! Some days I think "Just get him up or beat him?" So he usually gets to just get up! I'm a sucker....what do I do? I am gonig crazy but its nice to know that you are too!!!!
Looks like we're in the same boat! (Except the fact the Mariah is only 19 months old...shouldn't I have at least 5 more months before I have to worry about this?!?) She's not been doing well with naptime OR bedtime...with as much energy as she has...I don't know where she's getting it from, because she's totally lacking in the sleep department!
I'm glad he finally fell asleep...in the sun all cute like he is...that actually sounds pretty good to me too...I gotta go find some sun.
