Discovery Gateway

We decided to take the kids to Discovery Gateway on one of Bridger's days off. It was kind of a crazy day because Jackie was in the hospital and that is where our hearts really were. So don't mind our lack of enthusiasm for the museum. Maybe we should go back when we really want to be there and not in Ogden!!

The adventure began with a ride on Front runner. So fun. We were just about to miss the train so we ran to get tickets, thinkning we wouldn't make it. The conductor waved us on and we didn't have to wait an additional 30 minutes for the next one. The only problem, we forgot our stroller! Whoops!

We found our seats and settled in for the 30 minute ride to SL. Well, everyone but Hudson. He wanted to be all over the seats and table. Good thing it wasn't packed!!

Our next stop was to find Reagan some suitable sandals for the day. Acutally, any sandals. The first store we came to with kids sandals was Journeys. They had one rediculous pair that we bought. They were silver and wrapped around her ankle. In true Reagan form she looked at them and said: These aren't sandals, they dancin' shoes! And so now she has dancin' shoes that wear sores on her ankles and she doesn't even care.

Once we got the shoe situation under control we headed to the museum. It was nice enough, just not what we were expecting. Here are some highlights:

The kids had fun. All of them fell asleep on the train ride home. We made a stop to visit with Devan and then came on home. Fun day with some funny memories.
