Today my mom called to let me know that the Dr. that delivered Bridger died over the weekend in an avalanche. The news caught me off guard and made me quite sad (couldn't be that I'm pregnant and emotional). He leaves behind a wife and small children. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them.
We loved this Dr. He took such good care of me while I was pregnant. We were in his office just about ever other day by the end of my pregnancy. He felt like family. When we found out I was pregnant this time, we both made the comment that we wish we could be back in Star Valley with Dr. Bennett. It is just really strange to know that he isn't there anymore...He was a good man and will be missed.

I am sorry to hear this about your doctor. I hear about these avalanches and don't think much about it, but there are wives and children and families left behind and it is so sad.
As for your post below, I do think it is rude to leave during a talk. I would imagine that if someone did leave the stand that there would be a good reason, but if you are already dealing with ward strangeness this would add to the pile of odd.
I would imagine changing the pregnancy ticker was fun!!
