Chocolate Caramel Candy

AKA: Homemade Candy bars
(don't be intimidated. If I can make it, so can you!)

1 Cup milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup butterscotch chips
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Filling:
1/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups marshmallow cream (7 oz bottle)
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
chopped peanuts

Caramel layer:
1 14 oz package caramels
1/4 cup whipping cream

Icing:
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

1. Combine the first three ingredients in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Spread into the bottom of a lightly greased 13x9 inch pan. Refrigerate until set.
2. Melt butter in heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add sugar and milk. Bring to boil, boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in marshmallow cream, peanut butter and vanilla. Add peanuts. Spread over 1st layer and refrigerate until set.
3. Combine the caramels and cram in saucepan. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Spread over 2nd layer and refrigerate until set.
4. In saucepan combine chocolate chips, butter, and peanut butter. Stir over low heat until smooth. Pour over caramel layer. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
5. Cut into 1 inch squares. Store in the refrigerator. Makes 8 dozen (roughly)
