this is for the grandparents...and anyone else who is curious!

Today was Bridger's 15 month check-up. He is doing great. He weighs 20 lbs. and is 30 3/4 inches long (it looked like 31 to me, but she wrote down 30 3/4). That means he has gained 2 lbs. and grown an inch since he was a year old. I think he would have gained more weight had he not had his little illness the past couple of days. After the Dr., we came home and he laid right down for a nice 3 hour nap. When he woke up he ate lunch and went to get his shots. This is his last bunch until he is 4!! That was the best news of the day. He actually does quite well with his shots. He cries initially, but then he is fine. That makes it much easier for me.
He's been quite the little trooper. I don't think he feels 100% yet, but he's getting there. Luckily he has kept all of his food down. He's just sleepy still.

Oh, how well I remember that sound of a sort of cough in the night and you realize the little one is throwing up. Ick But, it happens to the best. I'm glad he is feeling better. He still sounds like he is a small boy. 2 pounds on someone his size can't even be seen. I always liked when they slept longer and then they liked being held and cuddled when they weren't feeling as well. There are some benefits.

Aunt Janet,
I actually thought of you when I heard him throw up (in a good way). I will never forget that you heard me throw up from down the hall in another room, and came to my rescue. I have a whole new appreciation for your motherly senses that night!
