1. Maurices sells shirts that look like maternity shirts, but really they aren't. That means, I get to buy maternity clothes out of the normal girl section...it's great. I can't imagine wearing these shirts if I wasn't pregnant though.
2. I have discovered the wonderful world of file folder games. A couple in our ward brings them for their kids and usually shares with Bridger. They keep him quiet for at least 10 minutes at a time. I recently made my first couple. I love it.
3. Hobby Lobby. The store is awesome. I found paper that I have wanted to buy forever, but it is quite expensive. 180 pages of this style came in a pad for 10 bucks. Can you say steal??!! I also found the finishing touches to a glass block I've been trying to finish. And, if that isn't enough, we bought all the fixins for a Christmas wreath for about 14 dollars. This store is addicting, and every day I think of something that I could buy there.
4. Christmas is just around the corner. What about that does not make you happy?
5. Tonight Bridger was trying to put his own shoes and socks on, while we weren't looking. I happened to look over and it was so cute to see him try to figure it all out. He was really concentrating.
6. I asked the primary kids to be reverent while the adults set up for the break-the-fast potluck after church (usually they run around and chase each other while yelling) and they were actually reverent. Some of them went as far as to offer their help. I was pleasantly surprised when the activities chairwoman called to tell me how well they behaved and ask me what I said to make them do it ( we didn't stay for the potluck).
7. Bridger might start going to bed at 8pm instead of 9 because of the time change. He did tonight, we'll see if it keeps up.
8. It was 67 degrees here today.
9. I feel the baby move all the time. I'm getting more excited and less anxious as the days go by. Hopefully in a few months I'll be ready and not scared to death to have two little ones. It makes me smile every time that I think about two little boys running around here.
10. I found a gingerbread or molasses cookie recipe that is excellent. I've eaten about half the batch myself.
Ok, so there were more than "a few" things and I included quite a few details...it was a good week. Here is a picture of Bridger enjoying one of the chocolate chip oatmeal cookies we made today.

This list of thing that make you happy was cute. I have to tell you that I was always excited when we changed time in the fall because they kids had internal clocks according to how dark it was out and not by the clock. We always gained an extra hour in the evenings because they would go to bed earlier. We never used the clock. The draw back on that one is that they're up earlier in the morning because it's now light at 6:30 and not 7:30. Oh well, give me my evenings when I'm exhausted and I was happy.
love you
Happy thoughts...sounds familiar. We've continued this tradition in our family. The funny thing is Kurt chooses one and says it every day for a month or 2. Right now his is "it was a good, good day." Previsouly it has been "I get to eat" or "flag day." Kids find joy in the funniest things.
