The weekend has been busy to say the least!
Friday night: We went to Casper to do a little shopping and watch a little football. I found some maternity clothes that will fit me. I hate the in between stage that nothing fits, yet maternity stuff is waaaay too big...after that and a fabulous meal at Wendy's we headed to Kelly Walsh High School to watch us some football. Evanston was playing KW in the first round of playoffs. We bundled like it was the arctic, and it felt like it. Bridger wasn't sure what to think because he could barely move. I don't think he has ever had that many clothes on. It was all worth it because he lasted the entire game with little fussing. Luckily there were some Evanston-ites there that we knew and sat by. Half way through Brent's cousin, Tiff, came and took Bridger off our hands for a bit. He loves the girl and even gives her real kisses. It is so cute. Thanks Tiff. Evanston won at the last minute and so it was a trip well worth it. We headed home and Bridger slept all night.
Saturday: We prepared most of the day for the ward party. It was a chili, bread, and cake dinner with a small carnival for the kids. We shopped, baked, set up, and finally ate. We didn't win the chili cook-off, but did get compliments on how good our chili was and all of the cupcakes got eaten. I call it a success. Bridger was a cute little dracula, who wouldn't let us take his picture. Hopefully we'll get some pictures on Halloween. Our game was the ring toss. We set up ten 2 liter bottles of soda and then the kids tried to get the ring over one of the bottles. If they did they got to keep the soda. I think the missionaries tried the hardest to get a "ringer".
Today: We had our Sacrament meeting program today. I was surprisingly nervous when at 9:00 there were only about 1/3 of our primary children in the congregation. Luckily by the time it was time to perform all of our kiddos were there, except one. Everything went off without a hitch. They sang better than I have ever heard them sing before. All the little kids delivered their parts without any nervousness. I was so proud of them.
Now we're just relaxing and enjoying the afternoon. Whew...I feel like I can breathe.

today was the primary program for our ward too. oh, how i love the primary program! i've been excited all week for church to come this week. and was a bit bummed that the chapel was too full so we had to sit in the overflow - not as good seats. it's been several years since i've got to experience the primary program. the kids are so cute and all their goofy waves and smiles to the crowd. and you can feel the spirit so strong. i am grateful to all those who put hard work into making happen.
Congrats on the program being done, that is a serious load off your shoulders. Now you can enjoy primary again and maybe sing songs that aren't related to the program, like cool holiday songs. Glad everything went well.
Way to go Pres! Sounds like you guys had a fun-filled and busy weekend. Can't wait for pictures of dracula.
