Saturday afternoon

We went to Laramie yesterday for the Wyoming-Utah State game. Kind of a strange game considering we are both Utah State alumni. We left Douglas in about 40 degree weather and thought we would need sweatshirts. Well, you can see that it turned out to be a b-e-u-tiful day in Laramie. The saving grace was a small crisp breeze that would cool us off every once in a while. It was a lot of fun and Bridger made it through the whole game with out freaking out. Not even once! This is great considering it was nap time and the night before he didn't make it through the Douglas -Glenrock game we went to. After a few close calls Wyoming finally pulled out the victory, I can't remember the final score though. Here are some of the highlights.

The people we sat next to weren't so much into the game as they were into cuddling. They were nice enough to take our picture though. They loved Bridger and he thought the were great.

The people in front of us left so Bridger had the bench to himself most of the game. He loved sitting there like a big kid...and playing with the cold water bottle.

Bridger and Brent enjoying the game.

Brent's aunt and uncle, Ronna and Kelly, got their seats changed so they were just 2 seats down from us. During the 2nd half their girls, Whitney, K'Lee, and Jonna, came and sat by us. Bridger loved the girls and their pom poms. They are great and it was fun to see them.

It wasn't sold out like last week, but there were a few Cowboy fans that made the trek!!

On our way home we had to stop to change Bridger's diaper. We stopped by the Wyoming Game and Fish research facility between Wheatland and Laramie (like any of you care where it is). Anyway...this bull elk was in the pasture right by us. Only my husband would happen to have a reed bugle in his wallet. He was able to call the elk back to us so we (and the other car that was stopped) could have a good look at it. I think this was the highlight of Brent's day. It was pretty cool. It would have been even better if it was in the wild and not fenced it. Although I was a little nervous even with a fence between us...I don't like being next to animals that are wild and a lot bigger than me.
