There aren't a whole lot of shows that we are tied to. Don't get me wrong, we watch our share of tv,we just flip channels a lot. One and a half shows that we love are on Thursday night. Last night you would have thought it was the Super Bowl or something. We had nachos, hot wings, and cardboard pizza (you know the kind from the freezer section in a box?). What was the occasion you might ask-besides me missing a meeting,on accident-the premier of My name is Earl and The office. I can take or leave My name is Earl. It was funny at first, and now its ok. I love The Office. If you don't get the humor, maybe you've never worked in an office with the same kind of weirdos. So that is what we did last night. It was fun, in our own little way.
In the middle of the night I woke up and remembered that meeting that I missed. Dang. The ward is going to think I'm a big flake, especially since I was reminded about it on Tuesday. Oh well.
Today while I was yet again looking for vacuum cleaner bags (who would have guessed they would be so hard to find in Douglas) I think Bridger said puppy. We were parked next to a truck with a dog sticking its head out the window. Bridger looked up and said some form of puppy. Or it sure sounded like it. He won't do anything on command, so I couldn't get him to repeat it. He just smiled and kept pointing until we couldn't see it any more. He's done this before but I just thought I was hearing things. I think he can do a lot of things, he just likes the easy life...:) Thats ok, he'll grow up soon enough and we'll miss our little baby Bridger.
I think that is all going on in our lives. Douglas plays at home tonight so we have a date with the football stands. We'll see how long Bridger lasts.

We don't have TV, but if I did I would put The Office on my schedule of shows to watch. It is hilarious. We have seen some of the episodes on a friend's DVD collection. I am jealous. Have fun tonight at the football game, those friday night lights are a-calling!
We love The Office! We used to watch Earl, too, but it got a little to crude. The Office is crude at times, too....but the funny outweighs it enough! I wish we lived closer to you....we would totally hang out!!
We love The Office too! Thursday was a little weird, but I am so happy Jim and Pam are together. The episodes tend to get better as the season gets going. Can't wait!
We are also Office fans. Thursday is very busy for us couch potatoes with Survivor and ER as well. Ah, its the good life (and love handles)!!
Yep, us too! We like the Office. Wyatt likes My Name is Earl too but I'm not as big of fan. Though I do like the wholesomeness (is that a word) of the story of the show - doing good to others. I find it more entertaining than funny. But the Office - makes me laugh!!!!
Hey guys,
The pictures of the birds are pretty wild. I think I would probably freak if there were that many birds outside my house as well. It really is kind of weird. Maybe they were migrating to the south.
How far is Douglas from Salt Lake? The way you talk about the town makes me want to come visit. But alas, I won't terrorize you with the thought of having four people invading your home. You'll just have to keep posting pictures.
I'm glad you like shells and cheddar. Although it is fattening, I still love it. There is something about the taste of cheese.
Say hi to Brent. Tell him I watched a few people fly fishing and have really started to want to know how to do it. It looks so hard. And, I don't like fish so I would have to catch them and then turn them loose. Unless Brent wants them.
Talk to you soon.
H.
