Have no fear

In case anyone had lost sleep over my inability to make small, paper boxes, you can rest easy. I figured it out. Well, thanks to a couple of websites and my husband, I figured it out. Here is the finished product. The top picture is what the box looks like when it is folded out. I added one picture from when we were engaged. I'll add one of last year and then continue on from this year. The bottom picture is the box with the lid and a little embellishing. I need to find some other stuff for the inside. I was so excited to figure it out. It only took about 10 minutes once I knew what I was doing. Sheesh...

In other exiting news, for me, Bridger fed himself breakfast this morning! We have lovely carpet in our kitchen so I have been a little reluctant to let him experiment with feeding himself. Today he just wanted the fork, so I put the plate on his tray and let him have at it. He ate his whole waffle and didn't even dump any on the carpet. He had a large fork and it was pretty funny to watch him try to maneuver it into his mouth. He got excited when I got excited about him eating everything and not dumping it.

Harold, this is for you...As I type this, I am eating a bowl of shells and cheese. I know its not the same that you love, but its my favorite. Thought you might appreciate that.
All that talk on Jeanna's blog yesterday made me really crave it. So when I went to Pamida (yes, they still exist) to get some vacuum cleaner bags, which they didn't have, I picked some up. I have to eat it when Brent is gone because he gags when he sees it. This is actually the first time I've been able to eat any sort of macaroni and cheese since I've been pregnant. I fed Bridger some easy mac and cheese when I wasn't very far along and the smell made me gag. I thought I would give it another try since I've been feeling better, and I still love the stuff. A little pregnancy can't keep me away from my favorites for long!!

Collette,

That is hilarious. I am so glad you were able to find some joy in the shells and cheese. I know it is one life's finest pleasures for Harold. I am still loving your blog and your pics, I check it daily, sometimes more than once! :) I have blog issues lately, I am completely addicted.

I used to love Cafe Rio and still the thought of it makes me want to vomit.

The box is so cute! Where did you get the idea and instructions?

That very same day your dad wasn't feeling so good and wanted comfort food. Macaroni in tomato sauce with cheese was his request....It must be a cosmic thing.
